Natural Academy works within a living development cycle that connects training, applied practice, research, place, and professional community.
Rather than treating these as separate stages, we understand them as interdependent movements within a single ecology of practice. Learning informs delivery. Practice generates insight. Research deepens understanding. Community sustains continuity and ethical depth over time.
This cycle enables our work to remain grounded, evidence-informed, and responsive to real-world contexts across health, wellbeing, ecotherapy and eco depth practice.

Training & Education
Natural Academy provides accredited training and vocational pathways in applied ecopsychology and nature-based practice. Our programmes support the development of practitioner competence, ethical grounding, and reflective capacity, alongside personal and professional integration.
Learning is experiential and evidence-informed, designed to prepare practitioners to work effectively and responsibly with people in natural settings.

Ham Green Outdoor Centre & Grenian
Applied practice is where training is translated into delivery and professional work. This includes NatureWell programmes, ecotherapy, and community-based initiatives across health, wellbeing, and therapeutic contexts.
Ham Green Outdoor Centre functions as a core place of applied practice, offering a land-based environment for programme delivery, practitioner development, and integration of learning in real settings.
Grenian sits within this applied practice space as a community of experienced practitioners in applying the Natural Self Eco Therapy model of practice. Grenian practitioners carry the learning into diverse contexts, contributing to sector development through their own practices, partnerships, and projects.

Evaluation & Research
The Natural Institute supports research, evaluation, and evidence development across training and applied practice. Working with practitioners, partner organisations, and academic collaborators, it contributes to the refinement of models, understanding of impact, and development of good practice.
Research is practice-based and relational, supporting learning that strengthens both delivery and training, and contributes to the wider evidence base for nature-based health and applied ecopsychology.
