'Michéal and Rhonda bring a great deal of experience and expertise to their work. This year long course offers a wonderful opportunity to connect to the natural world and reflect on what that means for you, as well as have the theory and practise to give you the confidence to work with others in nature. I have also made friends from this course and learned a great deal from the other participants. Michael & Rhonda clearly find this work purposeful. They break down an enormous and complex subject into something that is manageable and meaningful for all of us and they do it with heart and humour. I would highly recommend the Foundation Year at the Natural Academy.'

'The yearlong Natural Academy training has given me a remarkable depth and breadth of both professional and personal development. R & M brought their considerable knowledge and experience in an accessible, informal style that provided genuine safety, trust and growth. My longstanding therapeutic training and skills received a solid boost and I now feel able to launch the nature-based therapeutic work that has been my goal for some years.'

What I liked about the course: The building of a sense of community
The weaving of the experiential, our personal growth and growth as a facilitator was held skillfully
The co facilitation between the tutors was excellent
Combined percentage rating: 88%
"I was part of the 2018 Natural Academy cohort. During the course of the year my depth of connection to nature increased dramatically through a mix of theory, discussion and more importantly practice and experience. These different aspects were all well supported during the series of weekends and the residential week. The course was a combination of this deepening of personal nature connection, and an introduction to working with people using nature as part of the facilitation process. I would say the year long course is great for anyone who wants to work with people, in natural environments, in the realms of personal healing, wellbeing or deeper nature connection."
